Policies

A plain-English summary. The agreement you sign at check-in is the binding document.

How booking works

1. Message us with dates and group size. We confirm availability with the property owner.
2. We send you a secure booking link with the price and the agreement.
3. You pay 30% advance to confirm, or the full amount. The balance is due before arrival.
4. Fill in guest details and upload IDs on the link. A caretaker welcomes you on arrival.

Payment & deposit

• Payment is by UPI to Ivory Stays. Send us the 12-digit UPI reference number (UTR) on the booking link.
• A security deposit of about 30% of the booking amount is held and fully refunded if no damage is reported.
• Taxes, if applicable, are shown at confirmation.

Cancellation

• You can cancel up to 8 days before the check-in date.
• Refund details are in the agreement you receive with the booking link.

ID & check-in

• Every guest shares a valid government photo ID (foreign guests: passport and visa). We check the name and last 4 digits against the ID you upload.
• The lead guest signs for the whole group and is responsible for the group’s conduct.
• Unmarried couples are welcome with a valid local ID.

House rules

• Music low after 11 PM. Many of our homes are in residential societies.
• No drugs. Alcohol is allowed.
• Smoking in common areas only, not in bedrooms.
• Pets are welcome at selected homes. Check the stay page.
• No nuisance to neighbours.

Privacy

Your documents are stored privately and used only for verification and legal compliance, including reporting to local authorities where the law requires it. Files are deleted after the retention period set out in your agreement.
